Hey. So today in tuition, we did this comprehension passage, it was about childhood. Why did we wanna escape it, if it was so fun? We basically just wanted freedom, and a feel of how it is to be the one in charge. Whenever something interesting starts, we where told it was time for bed. We were always told 'why you so rude ?' 'Don't talk back!' We were ordered to go wash our hands, brush our teeth or to kiss a friend of our mom's. We had to eat our spinach, our pumpkin, our words .. Time and again, adults kept telling us how lucky we are to be young and free , telling us to enjoy our childhood while we could. We get scolded in class for talking, and the only time where we were truly free were at playgrounds and at celebrations. We didn't want to sleep because we weren't allowed to do lots of things, and so we didn't even feel tired.
Now, we are so busy, that every hour feels like a minute. And every single second of sleep feels so precious. We used to pour water into bottle caps, pretending we were taking shots, and throwing tic tac into our mouth as if taking drugs. Bang was just a sound and 69 was just a number. We didn't get judged for wearing pajamas out, we didn't even care. Now just wearing fbt to a shopping mall, we get judged. Trying our best to be ourself we get judged and teased. Online, i always see people tweeting, posting saying ' just be yourself ' but we can't always truly be ourselves. We choose our path in life and our friends. In our teenage years, some of us who are unfortunate get teased and bullied. Some bullies and classmates or other friends think " We're all just joking and having fun " but thats you not that person who you 'joked' with. Some words you say hurt alot. For example, maybe that person is secretly always admiring a girl/guy and you notice, and start making jokes, spreading rumours. How'd that person feel? I hate people who are like that.
I know some are thinking ' what do you know, your just a small girl. ' or ' you think you very smart uh. Say until like that ' but yeah, its my blog i'll say what i want. OHYEAH. I FORGOT. This coming sat, 27th of July is my school's limelight concert, in which my school band would be performing, i'll be going with my friends , you should go too :b if you haven't booked your tix you can just go down to sistic and book it now !! But better hurry the seats are filling up ! Hahah. I went to book mine yesterday and my friends and i were already left with foyer seats... But yeah. Hahah.
